Description:
The main responsibilities of the Arb Surveyor will be to conduct surveys, identify necessary work on the property and gain consent from the land owner.
The Duties Of The Arb Surveyor Will Include
- Conduct surveys on sections of their network.
- Identify necessary work on properties and gain consent from the landowner.
- Plan and create work packs for contractors to carry out the maintenance of the vegetation.
- Input information onto internal programme and then present this to the client.
- Attend sites before and during work being carried out to ensure safety and compliance is being maintained, check paperwork, PPE and signage etc.
- Be available for on call work managed by a rota.
The Successful Arb Surveyor Will Have/ Be
- Full UK driving license
- Experience within an arboriculture position.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience within a Surveyor position is desirable but not essential.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Good coordination of both team and individual workload.
- Results driven with good customer service skills.
- Experience in risk assessments, method statements and creating work packs (desirable)
- NEBOSH, CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS (desirable not essential)
