Guy Carpenter is looking for motivated individuals to join our Apprenticeship Programme in Birmingham. This is a 16-month Level 3 Apprenticeship designed to provide a combination of study and hands-on business experience, leading to a permanent full-time role within our organisation.
This role is hybrid, requiring at least three days in the office per week.
Programme Overview:
- Start Date: October 2025
- Duration: 16-month Level 3 Apprenticeship supported by Davies Learning Solutions
- Work & Study Balance: 20% of working time dedicated to skills and knowledge development
- Comprehensive Training & Networking: Gain insights into Guy Carpenter and the industry through structured training, networking events, and business exposure
- Permanent Position: The apprenticeship transitions into a full-time permanent role
- Diverse Career Paths: Work within our Client Support Services team, focusing on technical reinsurance claims and premium processing
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of risk, insurance, and reinsurance principles.
- Gain hands-on experience in real business situations and case management.
- Build a professional network with fellow trainees, alumni, and senior stakeholders.
- Support the Client Support Services team in managing technical reinsurance claims and premium processing.
- Research and provide solutions to business challenges, ensuring the best outcomes for Guy Carpenter and its clients.
- Maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients while assisting with internal and external meetings and projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- 96 UCAS points at A-Level or equivalent (BTEC, T-LEVEL, etc.)
- If applying with A-Levels, enter "N/A" in the degree field of the application.
- 5 GCSEs (Grades 9-4) including English & Maths.
- Right to Work in the UK.
