Applications Sales Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a Western Europe applications sales specialist for our Ultrafiltration portfolio based out of the UK. This position requires a hands-on, organized, and detail-oriented person able to work in a fast-paced environment. As an Applications Sales Specialist in the sales team, you will be responsible for managing the sales process for our Filtration portfolio. You will collaborate with our Inside sales team, delivering customer demos, supporting customer product evaluations, providing quotations, negotiating pricing, follow-up with purchasing, implementing training, onboarding, and delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Qualifications:

• Minimal education level of BSc (or equivalent) in a life sciences field.
• BSc-level knowledge of general biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular biology.
• Broad knowledge of natural sciences necessary for cross-discipline collaboration.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following fields: preparative macromolecular separation techniques; Microfiltration/ultrafiltration (TFF experience is a preferable); Purification and characterization of proteins / nucleic acids / viral vectors / lipid nanoparticles on a multi-milligram scale".
• Sales experience would be preferable but not essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are a must.
• Able to travel up to 50% of the time; You will be expected to attend trade shows and travel to customer sites to give product demonstrations.
• As part of this role, candidates must possess the ability to travel frequently inside and outside of the European Union.
