Antenna Systems Engineer

Description:

As a Systems Engineer, you will work collaboratively to drive the full lifecycle technical delivery and systems engineering activity for all products, projects and associated work packages. These will be both customer driven and for internal Research and Development (R&D) projects requiring antenna systems experience and expertise. Whilst providing your individual expertise, you will be required to broaden the systems engineering competencies across the UK Team.

Day to day responsibilities will include;

• Requirements capture and definition from stakeholder needs at system level through to sub-systems ownership, traceability, validation and verification.
• System Integration, verification validation and test (IVV&T) support
• Systems Engineering and project management inputs as required, to support planning, schedule and cost activities.
• Collaborate with the Engineering and Programme delivery team to maintain awareness and understanding of the engineering status against defined plans.
• Collaborate with Production and Service & Delivery teams to ensure design for manufacture, production, supportability and maintainability.
• Liaise with relevant technical groups including Production, Quality and external suppliers to drive successful engineering outcomes.
• Collaborate with Engineering delivery leads and technical leads to ensure design artifacts are provided to cost, time and quality.
