Main Duties
- Validating bank mandates and other registration forms, raising queries as required
- Setting up bank accounts in our in-house systems
- Liaising with the customers and their banks
- Updating various system tables to ensure onward processing can complete
- Completion of various daily settlement tasks to ensure settlement runs smoothly
- Creating, and maintaining procedures to ensure the latest process is documented
- Providing evidence and responding to questions raised by internal and external auditors
Skills & Experience
- Strong customer service skills to ensure the customer is kept up to date with progress on their issue
- Good analytical and communication skills are needed to ascertain the problems the customer is encountering so that you can resolve their issues in a timely manner
- The ability to multitask is key as you will often be managing multiple queries from various customers simultaneously
- You will need to have an eye for detail and work to a high degree of accuracy as its important to be observant and notice any discrepancies or errors within documentation
- Change focus quickly as business needs dictate
- Work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines
- A flexible team player with a “can do” attitude
- Knowledge of banking and insurance processes is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of Excel
