Airport Operations Staff

Description:

MAG is looking for Trolley Operatives to join its operations team at Manchester Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability of passenger baggage trolleys across all areas of the airport, providing a friendly and efficient service to airport users. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience at one of the UK’s busiest airports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and redistribute passenger trolleys across various airport locations, including terminals, railway stations, bus stations, and car parks.

• Operate trolley collection vehicles to recover trolleys from remote areas such as airport hotels and outlying roads.

• Maintain radio contact with Co-ordinators/Allocation Managers to respond to demand trends.

• Ensure trolley stock levels are maintained in essential areas for passenger convenience.

• Provide courteous customer service, responding to passenger queries.

• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Ensure that all uniform standards are adhered to.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK driving licence (with no more than 3 penalty points) is essential.

• Ability to work flexibly in a shift-based role (including day and night shifts).

• Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.

Work Arrangements:

• Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week)

• Shift-based role (including day and night shifts)
