Our client, a prominent player in the digital audio advertising sector, is on the lookout for a talented Agency Head to join their expanding team in London.

As an Agency Head, you will be instrumental in steering and enhancing the agency's operations in line with the company’s strategic goals. Your collaboration with current Agency Heads and the Head of Sales will be crucial in executing agency plans, driving revenue, and guiding your team towards success. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining top-notch standards both within the organization and in client interactions.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Enhance revenue performance by expanding commercial share and diversifying income sources.
  • Oversee revenue generation in one of the company’s largest agency sectors, acting as the primary representative to external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Sales and other Agency Heads to plan and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Work with the podcast team to develop and implement a clear strategy, fostering strong relationships to secure new business opportunities.
  • Instill the company’s culture and core values in your team, ensuring top performance and career growth for team members.
  • Foster market engagement by creating favorable commercial conditions for trading with agencies, trading groups, and direct clients. Represent the company at various industry events.
  • Lead efforts to transition digital customers to the company’s offerings, redirecting revenue from other digital mediums to digital audio.

 

Candidate Profile

 

  • Strong commercial expertise with the ability to develop and implement business plans and sales strategies.
  • Extensive experience in managing high-level agency relationships.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Excellent collaborative skills, with the ability to work seamlessly with both commercial and broader company teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, serving as a senior member of the commercial team.
  • In-depth understanding of the UK podcast market and its relevance to the company’s portfolio.
  • Strategic thinker with an understanding of long-term revenue generation and product diversification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the digital advertising landscape, with a focus on leveraging data-driven strategies.
