We are looking for motivated individual to join our Marketing, Recruitment, and Admissions Department, which plays a crucial role in promoting the university’s brand, attracting a diverse range of students, and managing the admissions process. Our department brings together marketing, student recruitment, and admissions operations to provide a smooth and supportive journey for prospective students from their first point of contact to enrolment.
Our Admissions team, consisting of eight individuals, is responsible for processing all student applications from the conditional offer stage through to the issuance of unconditional offer letters. We handle both Home and International applications, working closely with our regional offices located in various countries, as well as our International Office in Sunderland campus. Collaboration with our Student Recruitment team in London is also a crucial aspect of our work.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Admissions Compliance Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the university’s compliance with visa and immigration regulations. Your responsibilities will include processing applications, carrying out pre-CAS checks for visa purposes, and ensuring adherence to UKVI regulations. This role is fundamental to maintaining our ability to recruit and enrol international students while upholding the highest standards of compliance and service.
To be successful in this role, you need to have relevant work experience in international admissions or student visa compliance, including experience of issuing CAS. You need to be able to confidently carry out face to face, online and telephone interactions/ interviews with international applicants and students. Solid customer service skills are a must, along with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
