Description:
We are looking for an experienced individual with significant operational management experience to ensure delivery of acute care services from both of these sites and across the full range of urgent, emergency and planned care for all surgical and medical specialties. (Children and Young People, Cancer, Diagnostics, Women’s and Mental Health are provided across these sites within different management arrangements.
Whilst the NHS continues to deliver services in challenging circumstances, the teams providing healthcare to our local populations are exceptional and continue to strive to improve delivery of the services that our patients need. This is an exciting time for us here in the Central IHC and in particular at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd and Abergele Hospital with potential for changing the way we deliver some of our services, in particular Orthopaedic Elective Care, amongst others, as part of regional services. On our main acute site we continue to work with partners to implement the new Maggie’s Centre and we are progressing some of the developments in our community hospitals to support the whole system.
