Accounts Payable Specialist

Description:

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Specialists to join a London Local Authority in North London.

The Local Authority is in the process of bringing the Accounts Payable function in-house while implementing a new finance system, Oracle Fusion. To support this transition, they are looking to recruit three interim Accounts Payable Specialists who will assist in the implementation of Oracle Fusion through Key User Training (KUT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Responsibilities
 

• Collaborate with AP Managers/Team Leaders to ensure the successful implementation of Oracle Fusion.
• Participate in Key User Training (KUT) and quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
• Contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify system design and performance align with expectations.
• Transfer knowledge to the new team, providing support during the adoption of new systems and processes.
• Train teams to become proficient and competent in a short time frame.
   

Candidate Requirements
 

• 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a strong preference for Oracle (Oracle Fusion) experience.
• Prior involvement in project implementations, particularly with Oracle Cloud/Fusion.
• Proficiency in Key User Training (KUT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ability to effectively support post-implementation training and provide ongoing assistance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal stakeholders and vendors.
