We are a successful small accountancy practice based in Bicester. Due to our current growth plans an opportunity has arisen for a part-time Practice Administrator/Client Relationships Manager to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work across the full spectrum of operations within a general accounts practice. The role will allow you to gain extensive experience in both technical and personal skills working within a fun and hard-working environment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being the first point of contact for the clients
- Regularly communicate with clients over the phone, emails and WhatsApp messages, answering queries and providing support and assistance
- Assisting with new clients onboarding and disengagements
- Training clients on how to use accounting software (QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Dext)
- Managing the company secretarial duties like company incorporations, confirmation statements and updates of Companies House register
- Registering clients for new taxes as required and obtaining agents authorisations
- Working alongside the managers to improve the practice processes and implement automation
- Supporting managers in ensuring the practice compliance requirements are followed
- Providing support to the director to monitor and manage practice workflow and ensure deadlines are met
- Organising and storing paperwork, documents and scanned computer-based information
- Liaising with external contacts like HMRC, suppliers and other team members as required
YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience of working in an accountancy practice (minimum one year)- Essential
- High level of integrity and commitment
- Supportive and reliable team member with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Numerate and highly organised with an excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to adopt procedures and processes quickly
- Self-motivated with the ability to work using own initiative and plan/manage own workload and prioritise tasks
