Description:

Chiesi is seeking an Account Specialist (AS) – Respiratory Portfolio to serve as the single point of contact for customers while driving business growth in alignment with the UK marketing plan. This role requires a strategic approach to customer engagement, partnership development, and solution creation to meet the needs of both healthcare professionals and Chiesi.

The Account Specialist will focus on promoting Chiesi’s Respiratory Portfolio and work closely with GPs, practice-based nurses, pharmacists, and other decision-makers within GP practices, Primary Care Networks (PCNs), and practice clusters.


Key Responsibilities:

Act as a primary liaison for customers, guiding them to relevant Chiesi functions such as education, medical support, and partnership opportunities.
Represent Chiesi’s Voice of the Customer, gathering insights and acting on feedback to improve services and engagement.
Promote Chiesi’s Respiratory Portfolio in collaboration with key healthcare stakeholders.
Develop account plans for targeted PCNs, practice clusters, and individual GP practices to drive sales growth and enhance customer relationships.
Establish long-term partnerships, positioning Chiesi as the respiratory partner of choice in the healthcare sector.
Utilize digital and face-to-face interactions, embracing new technologies to engage with customers efficiently.
Support co-created solutions for healthcare professionals by facilitating service offerings, medical education, and collaborative projects.
Align Chiesi’s respiratory portfolio with customer priorities to ensure maximum impact and value delivery.
Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including sales targets, Net Promoter Score (NPS), project delivery, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Ensure compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice and Chiesi’s internal policies and values.
Support Chiesi UK’s B Corp certification efforts, contributing to sustainability initiatives and corporate responsibility goals.


Candidate Requirements:

Strong understanding of the NHS and healthcare customer priorities
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in pharmaceuticals or healthcare
Excellent selling and presentation skills
Robust clinical and market knowledge within respiratory or related fields
Experience in Key Account Management (KAM) and business planning
Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare stakeholders
Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize customer planning strategies
Project management capabilities and strategic thinking
Proficiency in IT tools and digital engagement platforms
Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points for new entrants)
ABPI examination certification or willingness to obtain it
