Description:
Mimecast is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to manage a portfolio of around 50 customers (1,000–3,000 employee range). The role focuses on upselling existing and new products, reducing churn, and strengthening customer relationships. You’ll be at the forefront of cybersecurity and human risk management, helping businesses stay protected against evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual upsell revenue targets.
Minimize downsell and churn within the assigned customer base.
Collaborate with the Partner / Channel Development team to develop and execute account strategies.
Identify and convert incremental revenue opportunities by selling new cybersecurity solutions.
Follow a structured end-to-end sales methodology and process.
Attend training sessions to enhance knowledge and sales expertise.
Required Skills & Experience:
2+ years of IT sales experience, preferably in email/messaging security, cybersecurity, or storage solutions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Strong understanding of corporate IT teams and their buying processes.
Experience working with channel partners (preferred but not required).
Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Results-oriented mindset with a positive outlook.
Self-starter with excellent presentation skills.
Degree-level education (preferred but not mandatory).
