Account Manager

 

Description:

This role requires someone who is strategically minded and commercially aware, someone who has at least a couple of years of medical device or equipment sales under their belt. You’ll be responsible for working within a defined territory, working with key accounts as well and looking for new opportunities.

Working with your clients to understand their needs, challenges and requirements, being able to offer sound advice on the latest equipment. Creating and growing relationships with procurement, theatre staff, surgical teams and other departments.

With our client’s HQ in Manchester, you will be required to attend monthly meetings at the office.

  • Negotiating skills - key attribute in facilitating commercial agreements.
  • Analyse customer problems with products or supply and develop appropriate solutions
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels within the hospital setting.
  • Understand and be able to work within the policies and procedures of the company
  • A minimum of two years sales experience within the medical device/equipment/products
  • Highly advantageous if you’re within ophthalmic marketing
