Description:
This role involves approximately 75% account-handling duties and 25% tasks requiring Adobe Suite and general technical design skills. Although not a specific graphic design role, the candidate's skillset will shape the role's development.
We're looking for someone with:
- A strong foundation in design and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), either 1-2 years of experience in a design-related role or relevant qualifications. We encourage you to submit your digital and print design portfolios showcasing your skills.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of account management (or similar) experience with a proven track record of professional, end-to-end client management.
- Can produce high-quality work to deadlines and enjoys working collaboratively with a small, growing team.
- Can contribute to key areas of direction and develop their skillset across administrative and creative areas.
While not mandatory, a background in print, branding, and design is highly desirable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribution to, or generation of original artwork under client briefs. These will range from one-off simple designs, to more complex briefs, so broad competency and confidence across the adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a must.
- Develop creative assets for internal use, supporting client projects and marketing initiatives.
- Conducting thorough reviews of client-submitted artwork to ensure adherence to our quality standards, and preparing assets for print
- Supporting client accounts with a variety of tasks across the Sunbaba portfolio (quotations, POs, invoicing)
- Maintaining and growing client relationships beyond the initial purchase, identifying further business opportunities
- Prioritising and managing workload to ensure exceptional support for all accounts
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and suppliers, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to create high-quality visuals.
- A portfolio showcasing your design skills in digital and/or print formats (strongly encouraged).
- At least 1-2 years experience as an account executive, or similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A strong multitasker who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlines
- A team player with the ability to build strong relationships quickly
- Proficiency with Apple Mac is a plus
