Account Director

 

Description:

Job Purpose: To support the development and delivery of Key Accounts in the UK Beauty Category, building long-term, trusting client relationships. Day to day management of the account team and purchasing strategy; Balancing the delivery of a high quality service to the client and a cost effective solution that exceeds the agreed Business Plan.

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Work together with the Head of Beauty to Develop and then implement effective Sales Action Plans for all Key Accounts and regional customers within your responsibility.
  • Develop strong senior customer relationships within Key Accounts
  • Responsible for ensuring Account Teams deliver Internal Business targets and Client SLAs and KPIs
  • Responsible for delivering Internal and client Monthly and Quarterly Business Reports, and any additionally requested reports including but not limited to customer meeting reports, forecasts
  • Ensure customer service is a priority. Identify and resolve all issues relating to customers within Standard guidelines.
  • Ensure that the Account Sales and Profit Budget is exceeded and that all costs related to orders are strictly controlled.
  • Daily report line and management of the Account Manager and Sales support Team.
  • Manage and develop Staff reporting into this position
  • In collaboration with the Creative Director and AM provide professional product presentations to customers.
  • Oversee the AM and Sales support team to produce customer quotations. Ensure quality samples and artwork for proposals.
  • Ensure the diligent follow-up of all quotations distributed to generate orders.
  • Communicate order status to all departments to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Participate in industry trade shows to develop and maintain business relationships, improve product knowledge and identify opportunities to increase sales.
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of accurate, legible customer file/Job Bags
