Account Director

 

Description:

A specialist built environment agency are looking to expand their team due to a large-scale project win. This consultancy is working with high-profile building and transport clients on meaningful developments with life changing impact. You will get the opportunity to work on exciting developments across planning, consultation, stakeholder mapping, political engagement and post-construction PR. This agency operates a hybrid working environment with additional travel to development sites where necessary. A well-established understanding of the planning process and local government is required, this is preferably demonstrated by a previous track record in a consultancy.

 

 

What they are looking for:

· Outstanding client account management skills with the ability to lead on accounts day to day.

· Ability to provide counsel on important policy issues.

-Initiative and entrepreneurial skills to help support wider business development.

· Able to give strategic advice and implement successful stakeholder engagement and public consultation programmes.

· Excellent communications skills, both orally and in writing.

-Excellent presentations skills with experience in supporting client pitches and winning new business.

-A history of fostering relationships with the ability to lead a strong team.

-Ability to deliver high value campaigns.

-Initiative and entrepreneurial skills to help support wider business development.

 

 

Minimum requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years experience within a public affairs agency.
  • A strong track record of working on property and planning issues in local government or in a consultancy environment.
