Academic Engagement Manager

This role is an exciting opportunity to work for one of 3Search's non-ministerial government prestigious clients. The post holder will be in charge of managing the relationship with its academic audience, which consists of individual academics, postgraduates, other research organisations, and academic funders. This role will work across our academic audience ensuring that there is planned engagement which is strategic, visible, and aligned with the key corporate objectives and strategies.

The Academic Engagement Manager will work closely with colleagues within the team, and across the wider organisation, to support and deliver internal events, conferences, and initiatives that will showcase the research and strengthen the academic partnerships.

The role will be responsible in providing engagement across the academic audience in a varied and innovative way, often working in partnership to overcome shared challenges. The post holder will take leadership on supporting the engagement team and being the go to person for internal events, communication and administration for the wider team.

Duties will include:

• To enable the delivery of academic programmes, including the ongoing development of internal research culture, and supporting PhD programmes and postgraduate training.

• Support our wider academic communications, disseminating and promoting information and research findings and opportunities to research communities through a range of effective messages, mechanisms and engagement.

• Work well within a busy and agile team and across the organisation to co-ordinate a professional and unified approach to academic activities in order to maintain the quality and dissemination of research with internal and external research communities.
